IT Project
Management

MedImmune, wholly owned by AstraZenica, is committed to advancing science to develop better medicines that help people live healthier, longer and more satisfying lives.  Sterling ETS, LLC provide IT Project Management support to MedImmune to deliver complex applications.

Under the direction of Sterling ETS personnel, MedImmune IT Project Teams have delivered Labortory Information Systems, Scientific Data Managment Systems, Supervisory Control and Data Systems, Enterprise Learning Management Systems, and have designed plans to improve In-Buildng Wireless Recption and implement a new Intranet application.







Network &
Process Design


Engineering and Professional Services (EPS) built a strong reputation for providing IT services to Military clients, specifically in the area of Communications / IT Support centers. Seeking to strengthen their position in the category of IT Support Procedures, EPS contracted with Sterling ETS, LLC to help respond to the CONUS-TNOSC RFP to provide NETOPS support to theater tactical C4 forces in or outside of its AOR.

Sterling ETS
drew upon its industry experience in standing up top notch IT support organizations to develop sound strategies and processes which would provide the NETCOM/9th ASC with world class around-the-clock IT support. Our input centered upon:

  • ITIL based Policies and Procedures for 24x7x365 service
  • Implementation of WEB Proxy Servers








Process
Management

Windward Consulting Group contracted with Sterling ETS, LLC to perform a high-level IT Process Analysis To ensure that VeriSign had the underlying process infrastructure to support the proper implementation of new OSS tools.The Process Analysis project focused on four specific process areas within VeriSign: Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, and Change Management. This focused effort compared and contrasted VeriSign defined processes to that of Industry Standard Best Practices to determine if there were specific VeriSign uniqueness that would require special consideration in the overall tool selection project. Deviations from the Industry Standard Best Practices were categorized as deliberate diversions to accommodate VeriSign specific requirements (“The Secret Sauce”) or opportunities for improvement of the current processes.






Software
Development

In an effort to maximize their chances of successfully bidding on upcoming NETCENTS Task Orders, Verizon FNS, LLC contracted with Sterling ETS, LLC to develop Requirement Correlation Matrices, Proposal Templates, Collateral and Boilerplates, and a streamlined Proposal Process. Sterling ETS developed a custom software application to encapsulate all the deliverables and provide a common interface for use by Verizon FNS and Verizon Federal to respond to NETCENTS opportunities.

Using a properly vetted list of requirements Sterling ETS developed an XML based NETCENT Proposal Support Tool. This WEB based tool utilized context driven menus to guide users through the proposal response process. By answering questions about a particular RFP, the user was able to generate proposal responses suitable for pricing and management review. The responses consisted of best in breed proposal collateral, 3rd party input, and preloaded templates. The creation of the NETCENTS Proposal Support Tool greatly reduced the time to produce consistently good responses by allowing users without in-depth engineering knowledge to provide technically sound answers to Task Order requirements.
